In Pakistan Super League (PSL) 8, Jason Roy of Quetta Gladiators claimed the honor of making the highest individual score in the event.
In the 25th match of PSL 8 against Peshawar Zalmi at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Jason Roy scored the second fastest century in the history of PSL and became the individual highest run scorer.
The English cricketer completed a 44-ball century against Peshawar Zalmi for Quetta Gladiators, before Multan Sultans’ Riley Russo scored a 43-ball century and Lahore Qalandars’ Hervey Brooks scored a 48-ball century.
In the same match, Jason Roy broke the record of playing an individual innings of 127 runs by Colin Ingram of Karachi Kings in 2019, he has scored 139 runs while remaining unbeaten.
Jason Rowe has become the first foreign cricketer to score 2 centuries in PSL thanks to his brilliant innings.
The English cricketer scored 116 runs against Lahore Qalandars in Karachi last season.
