Pakistan Super League team Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfaraz Ahmed’s fingers were x-rayed.
After the match against Karachi Kings yesterday, Sarfaraz Ahmed was taken to the local hospital under the supervision of the team doctor.
X-rays of Sarfraz Ahmed’s fingers were done at the hospital, which showed no fracture but severe swelling and pain.
Doctors will examine Sarfaraz Ahmed again in the evening and the decision to play tomorrow’s match or not will be taken before the match.
It should be noted that a ball from fast bowler Naseem Shah hit Sarfraz Ahmed on the finger of his reverse hand while keeping wicket in the match against Karachi Kings.
Sarfaraz Ahmed could not keep wicket in the last 2 overs of the match and Umar Akmal did the keeping duties in his place.
