Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam has said that Hasan Ali’s spell changed the entire game today.
While giving a press conference in Karachi, the captain of Peshawar Zalmi said that people keep talking, my job is to perform, I try to give hundred percent everywhere.
Babar Azam said that the start was good in the match against Islamabad United but the finish was not good. It became difficult due to wickets falling up and down.
Regarding his innings, Babar Azam said that the situation was such that to take the game to the end, the score could have been around 200 on today’s wicket.
He said that in T20 you have to play fast, sometimes you have to play different shots, you can improve your strike rate by staying in your natural game.
Babar Azam said that tournament gets hype when players challenge each other, every player tries to do his best for his franchise.
He also said that I take every kind of challenge in a positive manner. I am satisfied with the first part of my innings today, not the second part.
He said that if there is a low total, one has to sacrifice more in fielding. Peshawar Zalmi’s bowling is not bad but fielding is a concern.
Captain Peshawar Zalmi said that Harris tries to put pressure on the other team. Harris is not finishing well, he must take the innings long.
Babar Azam said that I try to share experience with all the young players including Haris, the more you teach the young players, the more Pakistan will benefit.
Babar Azam said that Hasan is making a comeback, he was bowling with passion today, he was talking to Hasan in the field, he was trying to put pressure but he did not come under pressure.
Babar Azam said that fielding has a very important role in any format, we wasted some opportunities in fielding.
He said that the sooner we recover, the better it will be for our team.
Babar Azam said that I had a strike rate of 160 in the first 10 overs, when the wicket falls down, the strike rate is affected.
He said that I try to finish things if I have them in my hands.
