Karachi: In Golestan Johar, uncle was killed by nephew’s firing inside the house.
The deceased had come from Australia to celebrate Eid three days ago and had come to his sister’s house.
Head Editor Sharia Faisal Waseem Abbas said that the incident took place inside a house in Golestan Johar Block 12 Baloch Society, the victim was identified as 55-year-old Maqbool Ahmed Zakaria.
According to preliminary investigation, the deceased had come to visit his sister’s house where his nephew Faheem was threatening his maternal uncle with his licensed shotgun which accidentally fired, killing his maternal uncle.
The deceased was a resident of Baloch Colony and had come to his home from Australia to celebrate Eid 3 days ago, while he had come to his home in Gulistan Johar on Wednesday to meet his sister, where the incident took place. Recovered, the accused is a father of 5 children and works as a car dealer.
Meanwhile, 30-year-old Ziaullah was injured in firing during a dispute in Baldia Ittihad Town Tayyaba Mohalla, while 18-year-old Iqbal was injured in firing near Machhar Colony Sonali Chowk in Docks area.
The police say that the incident took place during a caste dispute, while the two injured persons were taken to the civil hospital for immediate medical assistance, the police are conducting further investigations regarding both the incidents.
