Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Mian Mehmood-ul-Rashid fell ill in jail, after which he was shifted to hospital.
According to Express News, Mian Mahmood-ul-Rashid has been transferred to a hospital in Lahore and the medical assistance and treatment is ongoing.
Sources said that Mian Mehmood-ul-Rashid was shifted to the hospital due to appendicitis and after the test, there is a possibility of an operation on his appendix.
It should be noted that Mian Mehmood-ul-Rashid has been arrested and sent to jail under the terrorism cases registered regarding the events of May 9, where he has been imprisoned since last year.
