Karachi: More than 3 billion has been released for the safe city project regarding making Shahr Quaid safe.
Sindh Interior Minister Zia Linjar has directed to complete the first phase of the Safe City project in 12 months. He said that the Safe City project will help in gradual reduction and elimination of crime rate.
The provincial interior minister said that in the second phase of the Safe City project, efforts will be made to cover Karachi completely, the Safe City project will be expanded to other cities of Sindh after Karachi.
He said that no government wants crime to happen, the law and order situation is improving gradually.
Sindh Interior Minister said that he does not say that the situation is completely better, but the situation is definitely getting better, they are making great efforts for law and order, and they are satisfied with the performance of their police.
