The Chief Minister of Balochistan formed a committee to investigate the locking of the Quetta Press Club by the district administration yesterday and assured the journalists of action against the relevant officers.
According to the details, when the Chief Minister of Balochistan started addressing the assembly session, the journalists strongly protested the incident that happened in Quetta the previous day. It should be noted that before the press conference of Dr. Mahrang Baloch and other people yesterday, the press club was locked and temporarily sealed by the administration.
Sarfraz Bugti assured to address the concerns of the journalists on the walkout and said that a committee has been formed to find out the facts regarding the press club closure.
He said that the press club is very important in the society and Pakistan People’s Party believes in free journalism from the first day, we will remove the gifts of journalists.

The Chief Minister held talks with the journalists and gave assurances on protesting, on which the media representatives ended the protest. The President of Quetta Press Club said that Chief Minister Balochistan has condemned the press club incident and has assured to investigate the incident and take action against the relevant officers.
