The United Nations Security Council has expressed disappointment over Israel’s plan to legalize settlements in occupied Palestinian land.
According to a foreign news agency, the Security Council members, including the United States, have said in a unanimous statement that such measures create an obstacle to peace.
The UN Security Council says that Israeli settlements threaten the two-state solution.
On the other hand, Israel has condemned the statement of the Security Council as one-sided.
The Israeli Prime Minister has said that this should not have happened, America should never have been involved.
