Khyber Pakhtunkhwa;  Polling continues for 6 vacant seats of Tehsil Council Chairman

Peshawar: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, polling is going on for the by-elections on 6 vacant seats of Tehsil Council Chairman.

According to the Election Commission, the polling in all tehsils started at 8 am and polling will continue till 5 pm. In the morning, women are also present at the polling stations to exercise their right to vote.

District Monitoring Officers and District Monitoring Teams are mobilized to monitor the polling process. The Election Commission Secretariat is monitoring the local government by-elections from the central control room, strict legal action will be taken for violation of the law during the polling or election process.

It should be noted that 6 seats of Chairman Tehsil Council became vacant due to resignation.
