Karachi: The Sindh government has declared a public holiday on May 1 on the occasion of Labor Day.
According to the notification issued by the Chief Secretary Sindh, the Sindh government has announced a one-day holiday across the province on May 1 on the occasion of Labor Day.
According to the notification, all institutions and departments under the Sindh government will remain closed on Wednesday, May 1, except for private institutions.
It should be noted that various ceremonies are organized on May 1 in connection with Labor Day at public and private levels and under labor unions and other human rights organizations, in which solidarity is expressed with laborers and workers. Apart from this, labor rallies are organized in various cities, in which workers and laborers participate in large numbers.
