A girl in Alaska has confessed to making a video of her friend’s murder for $9 million.
According to American media reports, 22-year-old Denali Brehmer killed 19-year-old Cynthia Hoffman in 2019.
The accused has confessed to the crime, the case was investigated by the police and the FBI in cooperation with several other agencies.
Cynthia hiked Thunderbird Falls with Denali in June 2019.
Two days later, his body was found on the banks of the Aklutna River with a bullet mark on his head.
Investigators told the court that Denali was 18 at the time of the murder and killed Cynthia after meeting a man named Tyler online.
Tyler gives Denali the impression that he is a millionaire and will pay her $9 million if she kills her friend and makes a video of the incident.
Later investigation revealed that Tyler’s real name was Darren Schlumler and he was from the state of Indiana.
