Quetta: Candidates of different political and religious parties from Balochistan have submitted their nomination papers for Senate elections.
According to Express News, the process of submission of nomination papers by the candidates to participate in the Senate elections continued on Saturday. According to the spokesperson of the Election Commission, the time for submission of nomination papers was till 6 pm.
28 candidates from different political and religious parties have submitted their nomination papers from Balochistan, including PML-N’s Aurangzeb Khetran, Rahat Jamali, Agha Shahzeb Durrani, Syed-ul-Hasan Mandukhel and Naseem-ur-Rehman.
The papers of Chingiz Jamali, Hasna Bano, Sardar Umar Gurgej, Bilal Mandukhel, Tariq Masuri Bugti, Ishrat Zehri and Kiran Baloch have been submitted by the People’s Party.
The papers of Ahmed Khan Khalji, Maulana Abdul Wasi, Qari Rahmatullah Advocate, Bibi Kulsoom and Amanullah Kunrani have been submitted by JUI.
The joint candidate of the People’s Party and the National Party, Jan Muhammad Bilidi, while the joint candidate of the People’s Party and the Awami National Party, Amil Wali Khan, have also submitted their nomination papers.
Independent candidate Dr. Hussain Islam, Ejaz Ahmed, Sana Jamali, while Balochistan Awami Party’s Kehda Babar, Mubeen Khalji’s nomination papers have also been collected.
