Lahore: Punjab Police has arrested the accused who killed the husband of the famous Tik-Talker together with him two years ago from Muscat.
According to the police, a major operation was carried out to arrest the accused of the murder and the accused who killed the husband of the famous Tik-Toker Maimoona Aram Shahzai has been arrested from Muscat.
The Punjab Police said that the alleged accused Rizwan Ali had killed her husband along with Maimoona Aram Shahzadi in the area of Agoki police station.
It was said in the statement that the accused had unsuccessfully tried to disguise the murder as a robbery and later went into hiding and fled abroad.
The police said that the special operation cell of the provincial police has arrested the alleged accused by Interpol after two years, the accused was issued a red notice and expelled from Muscat.
Punjab Police said that the accused has been handed over to Sialkot Police for further legal action.
Regarding the arrest of advertising suspects from abroad, the police said that the total number of advertising suspects arrested from abroad this year has reached 17.
Inspector General (IG) Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar praised the Special Operations Cell for the successful operation and directed to complete the legal proceedings against the accused soon and bring them to justice.
