X is closed since February 17, counsel for the petitioner
The Islamabad High Court has issued a notice to the PTA and the Ministry of Information on the petition filed against the closure of X (Twitter).
Chief Justice Amir Farooq heard the citizen’s petition against the closure of X. Chief Justice Amir Farooq inquired whether X is closed.
The petitioner’s lawyer replied that X has been closed since February 17, and a hearing on the contempt petition is to be held today in the Sindh High Court.
The court issued a notice and adjourned the hearing of the case till next week.
