Gwadar: Citizens are migrating in large numbers as many residential areas are flooded after torrential rains.

Due to heavy rains, the old population of Gwadar, Sarbandan, Malaband ward and other areas of Gwadar started to present a river scene. .

After many areas were flooded during the rains, citizens including women, children and the elderly are being shifted to other neighborhoods and madrasas or high-rise buildings.

According to Express News, Deputy Commissioner Gwadar and district administration officers are visiting the affected areas. According to reports, several boats have sunk in Sarbandan and Gwadar, which has also severely affected the employment of fishermen. Reports of houses collapsing have also been received from different areas of Gwadar city while citizens are trying to get drainage under their own hands.

Makran Coastal Highway between Gwadar and Sarbandan was submerged due to incessant rain. In this regard, PDMA has issued an alert to the administration of all districts. The post said that more rain with thundershowers and widespread snowfall is expected in the upper reaches. Rain and snowfall will continue from February 29 to March 2.
