Quetta: Pakistan People’s Party’s position to form the government in Balochistan has improved further as three independent candidates have announced to join the PP and support the government.
According to the details, the three independent candidates elected from Balochistan had a meeting with former President Asif Ali Zardari in Balochistan. Liaquat Lahri, Isfand Yarkakkar and Maulvi Noorullah were among those who met.
Three independent candidates joined the People’s Party in a meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari.
Speaking to the media, the newly elected independent member of the Balochistan Assembly Maulvi Noorullah said that he had a discussion with former President Asif Zardari in Islamabad regarding government formation in Balochistan.
He said that along with me, the newly elected members of the Assembly, Asfandyar Kakar and Liaquat Ali Lahri were also involved in the meeting.
Maulvi Noorullah said that I have not joined the People’s Party, but I will support the People’s Party to form a government in Balochistan.
It should be noted that the candidates who have won the election as an independent have only 24 hours left to join any party after the notification of success is issued.
