Lahore: Members elected as independent members from various constituencies of Punjab Assembly are continuing to join Pakistan Muslim League (N) and another 4 independent members announced their joining the party after meeting President Muslim League (N) Shehbaz Sharif.
Among the 4 members who joined Pakistan Muslim League-N are Sultan Bajwa from PP-132, Hanif Patafi from PP-288, Mehmood Qadir Khan from PP-289 and Taimur Lali from PP-94.
The four newly elected independent members met Prime Minister-designate and Pakistan Muslim League (N) President Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore, where on this occasion, other leaders of the party, Rana Tanveer, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Attaullah Tarr, Sardar Owais Khan Laghari, Khawaja Imran Nazir, Sardar Ahmed Khan Leghari and others were also present.
Shahbaz Sharif thanked Sultan Bajwa, Hanif Patafi, Mahmood Qadir Khan and Taimur Lali for joining the Muslim League (N) and welcomed them to the party. Expressed full confidence in Shahbaz Sharif.
The four members who joined the Muslim League (N) congratulated Shehbaz Sharif on being nominated as the prime minister by party leader Nawaz Sharif and the allied parties.
On this occasion Shahbaz Sharif said that we all will live up to the trust of leader Nawaz Sharif and the people, only unity and cooperation can get Pakistan out of difficulties, we will serve the people under the guidance of Nawaz Sharif.
The prime minister-designate said that he will follow the vision of Nawaz Sharif, take Pakistan out of economic dangers and the first challenge is to save the people from the torment of inflation.
