Electricity for the citizens of Karachi is more expensive by 2 rupees 87 paise per unit

Karachi: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has once again increased the electricity rates for the citizens of Karachi.

According to Express News, the tariff of K Electric has been increased by 2 rupees 87 paise per unit as part of the quarterly adjustment.

The increase in electricity prices has been adjusted for January-March 2023, the increase will burden K-electric consumers by Rs 9 billion.

Nepra has sent the decision to increase the electricity rates for K Electric to the federal government.
