15 days time limit for officers residing in Pakistan College to vacate their houses

Karachi: The Department of College Education has given 15 days time to the officers of the department residing in Khatun Pakistan College to vacate the house, formal notices have been issued to three different officers including the Regional Director Karachi.

After it was revealed that the officers of College Education Department were living in Khatun Pakistan College, the department gave them 15 days to vacate the house, while on the other hand, Rana Liaquat Ali Khan located in the neighborhood of Khatun Pakistan College. 27 families have also been reported to have settled in the College of Home Economics.

Some of them are being told that they are not even paying the house rent for their college accommodation while a “mini-zoo” is also set up in the college. Meanwhile, it is also known that a large part of Jamia Millia Government College, Millar, has been converted into a residential colony.

All this situation has arisen in such a way that the Department of College Education does not have any clear policy for providing accommodation in colleges and neither seniors and juniors and related or unrelated people are being taken into account in the allotment of accommodation, but only relations and Accommodation is being given in colleges on influence.

The above disclosures have been made during the collection of details of legal and illegal residents/officers residing in government colleges of Karachi, a report in this regard is being prepared in the Regional Directorate of Colleges, which has been handed over to the department secretary for further action. will go

It should be noted that apart from Regional Director Colleges Karachi Professor Sulaiman Syal, Deputy Director Rashid Khoso and a third officer are living in Pakistan Government College along with their respective families.

When contacted by “Express”, Regional Director Colleges Professor Sulaiman Syal said that the College Education Department has issued a 15-day notice to him and the third relevant officer, including Deputy Director Arshad Khoso, to vacate the house, and they are now at home. Will empty.

On this occasion, he revealed that according to the data received by the regional office from the colleges, there are at least 27 families living in Rana Liaquat Ali Khan College, most of them do not belong to this college.

To a question, he said that there are at least 20 families whose house rent is not being received by the department. A mini zoo has been created.

Similarly, a large part of Jamia Millia College has been turned into an illegal residential colony, both Government College of Physical Education and Government College of Education are running under mixed system of education, there are female students here too but houses are allotted here too.

In response to a question, he said that the department will not give notice to the former regional director Prof. Bari Andar, who resides in Physical Education College. EPCA has run because they had transferred two clerks from Sheikh Zayed College some time ago and EPCA was under pressure to return this transfer which they did not do.

Also, regarding the revelations made regarding Rana Liaquat Ali Khan College, when “Express” inquired with the principal there, Ezra Farooqui, she denied the regional director’s claim to her that the place of her residence in the college. There is a mini zoo set up.

The principal said that some birds have been hatched which are often reared in houses. When asked about other residents, he said that all the other bungalows or quarters in the college also have staff living here, only one college principal, Nusrat Waheed, is in another college and is staying here.
