Rawalpindi: A 10-year-old student mysteriously disappeared from the area of Mandira police station.
According to the police, the principal of the private school that brought the children from Sialkot to Islamabad for an excursion reported that the children from Sialkot were returning to Islamabad for a fun and informative visit to eat at a hotel in Mandira police station area. When they stopped and started going back after finishing, the ten-year-old student Faizan Abid was not there. They searched around but could not find him.
The police reached the spot and started searching for the child. The police officials said that apart from the CCTV footage of nearby hotels including the hotel, the surrounding areas were also investigated, but no trace of the child was found.
It is also not clear whether the child reached there with other children or not, but after receiving a complaint, a search for the child has been started by taking legal action and for this purpose, human intelligence along with technology is being taken.
