Karachi: Counter Terrorism Department arrested Al Qaeda terrorist Abdullah Sagheer from Matiari while 2 terrorists escaped during the exchange of fire between CTD and terrorists.
According to the spokesperson of CTD Sindh, the police team conducted a raid in Jaindal Shahkot in the limits of Matiari while acting on technical grounds, when the terrorists attacked the team of CTD, in the exchange of fire, Abdullah Sagheer Asi alias Asad Ould was killed. Muhammad Saghir Asi was arrested.
Ali and Shehryar, two terrorists of the banned terrorist organization Al-Qaeda, escaped after firing on the police party.
According to the preliminary investigation, the arrested terrorist Abdullah has visited Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and Afghanistan to strengthen the network while he was recently deported from UAE to Pakistan.
Kalashnikov and grenades have been recovered from the possession of the arrested terrorist.
