Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Arrives in Scotland with 60-Vehicle Convoy to Celebrate 77th Birthday
Dubai’s ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has arrived in Scotland with a convoy of around 60 vehicles to celebrate his 77th birthday.
The Ruler of Dubai and Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, traveled to Scotland for his birthday celebrations. He will be staying at his 63,000-acre Inverinate Estate, where the celebrations are scheduled to take place next week.
According to British media reports, Sheikh Mohammed appeared serious upon arriving at Inverness Airport. However, he was later seen enjoying a walk through the Highlands with members of his family and close associates.
Reports say his entourage includes a private jet, three helicopters, and a security and transport convoy of approximately 60 vehicles, featuring several Range Rovers and Mercedes-Benz models. Local residents said they had never before witnessed such a large number of security vehicles in the area.
The Inverinate Estate, located on the shores of Loch Duich, already includes several residential buildings, lodges, and three helipads. Last year, Sheikh Mohammed was granted permission to build additional residential properties on the estate. Locals say the area is gradually taking on the appearance of a “small village.”
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has played a pivotal role in Dubai’s transformation. During his leadership, landmark projects such as the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, and Dubai Metro were completed. He is also the founder of Emirates Airline.
