PCO facility is not available to accused of Official Secrets Act, Superintendent Adiala Jail
Islamabad: Superintendent Adiala Jail refused to talk to Imran Khan’s sons.
The Official Secret Act Court in Islamabad heard a contempt of court petition for not talking to the sons of Chairman PTI despite the court order. The hearing was adjourned till Monday as Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain was on leave.
The Superintendent of Adiala Jail, while submitting his reply in the court, apologized for talking to the sons of Chairman PTI.
In response, he said that on October 18, special measures were taken to make Chairman PTI talk to his children, but there is no facility to talk abroad permanently on WhatsApp. can direct, through the prison PCO, prisoners are facilitated to talk to family and lawyers, IG Prisons issued a letter regarding official secret accused, in which it was said that official PCO facility is not available to accused of Secret Act.
The Superintendent of Adiala Jail in response requested that the contempt of court petition against me should be dismissed as he cannot even think of violating the court’s order.
