The 67th National Hockey Championship was won by Mari Petroleum, losing to WAPDA on penalty shootout in the final.
In the final played in Rawalpindi, Mari Petroleum and WAPDA had scored one goal each by the scheduled time, Mari Petroleum scored 4 goals and WAPDA scored 3 goals in the penalty shootout.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar Haq Kakar was the chief guest of the final match.
The championship was played under Pakistan Hockey Federation and Army Welfare Trust.
