Lahore: Despite the permission of the district administration, the police stormed the Tehreek-e-Insaf convention in Kahanna area.
Police and law enforcement agencies detained several activists from the convention venue in Kahana. Officials cracked down and detained 55 PTI people who had gathered for the convention.

The police also raided the office of the leader who organized the convention. The police broke the windows of the office and also tore the flexes and posters of PTI.
It should be noted that the district administration has given permission to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf to hold a rally on October 22 in constituency NA-123 Kahna.
Initially, the district administration of Lahore had refused to allow Tehreek-e-Insaf to hold a rally, on which PTI had approached the Lahore High Court. While hearing the petition, the court had said that if PTI is not allowed, then no one should be allowed to hold the rally.
