Rawalpindi: In the case of Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed’s disappearance, the court ordered the police to recover him by October 26.
Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan of the Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench heard the case related to the disappearance of former Interior Minister and Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, in which the police sought more time for recovery.
The court accepted the request of the police for more time to recover Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed and ordered to recover him by October 26. On behalf of the RPO, the court was told that the CPO, SSP operation and police officers were not involved in the arrest of Sheikh Rasheed.
He said that the police is making efforts to recover, give time, they will recover.
The court said that the former interior minister should be recovered by the next date. The court adjourned the next hearing of the case till October 26.
