ICC ODI Rankings;  First position of Babar Azam retained

Pakistan’s Babar Azam has retained his first position among batsmen in the new ODI rankings of the International Cricket Council (ICC).

According to the newly released ICC rankings, national team captain Babar Azam is at the first position with 887 points, while Rasi van der Dusen and Quinton de Kock are at the second and third positions respectively.

Australia’s David Warner and Pakistan’s Imam-ul-Haq are also at the fourth and fifth positions respectively, while India’s Shubman Gill has moved up two places to the sixth place and Virat Kohli has moved down one place to the seventh place.

Steve Smith has also moved down one place to eighth place while Rohit Sharma has moved up two places to ninth place.

In the ranking of bowlers, India’s Mohammad Siraj has become the number one bowler by snatching the first position from New Zealand’s Trent Boult, while New Zealand’s Trent Boult has moved to the third position.

Australia’s Josh Hazlewood is second in the ranking while Pakistan’s fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi is at the 8th position in the ranking.

In the ranking of ODI all-rounders, Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan is the first, while Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi is second, Bangladesh’s Mehdi Hasan is third and Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan is fourth.
