Oman: It was announced that Jordan will deliver aid to Gaza at the Rafah border crossing in Egypt, and if permission is granted, the aid will go to Gaza from there.
According to the World News Agency, due to the Israeli bombardment, the safe corridor used to go from Gaza to Egypt was closed, due to which no aid of any kind is reaching Gaza.
Besides, due to the closure of the corridor, the refugees of Gaza are also not able to go to Egypt to save their lives. Egypt currently refuses to open the Rafah border crossing.
Egypt’s security sources said on the condition of anonymity that there are talks with other parties including the US on the plans to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza through the Rafah border, but no decision has been made yet.
On the one hand, Israel has blockaded Gaza, cutting off electricity and suspending fuel supply, while on the other hand, the Egyptian government has also closed the Rafah border crossing.
The reason for which is neither the refugees from Gaza are able to go to Egypt in search of a safe place nor the aid from any country is reaching Gaza because the way to reach Gaza is the Rafah crossing border.
