Thousands of dollars recovered in raid on illegal currency exchange, 2 accused arrested

The accused were doing currency exchange business without license

Peshawar: During the raid on the illegal currency exchange, thousands of dollars were recovered and 2 suspects were arrested.

According to the spokesman, FIA Commercial Banking Circle Peshawar conducted a raid on the instructions of Deputy Director Rizwan Shah and in the process arrested 2 suspects involved in illegal currency exchange, who were running money changer business without license.

The accused were arrested from Sadar Bazar area of ​​Peshawar, including Atifullah and Khalid. During the raid, 40 thousand dollars were recovered from the accused. The accused could not satisfy the authorities regarding the recovered currency.

A case has been registered against the accused and investigation has been started.
