Peshawar;  Hearing of restored references in accountability courts has started

Peshawar: The hearing on the restored references has been started in the accountability courts.

After the NAB amendments were declared null and void, the records of the cases in connection with the implementation of the decision were brought to the courts, after which the hearing on the restored references has started in the accountability courts. Accountability courts have issued notices in 111 references.

Further action on the references will be initiated after the production of the accused. According to NAB Peshawar, after the amendment in 2022, 134 references were sent back to NAB and now the cases have returned to the courts after the amendment was revoked.
