Karachi's air has become extremely unhealthy, ranking first in the world in terms of pollution

Karachi: The air pollution of Shahr-e-Quaid has become extremely unhealthy, due to which Karachi has become the first city in the world in terms of pollution.

According to the Air Quality Index, due to the effects of North-West winds of Balochistan, Karachi’s air continues to be extremely harmful to health and Karachi is ranked first in terms of pollution worldwide for the third day.

The amount of polluted particles in the atmosphere of the city is being recorded at 208 particulates, while Lahore ranks third among the most polluted cities in the world with 166 particulates. Kuwait City is second with 173 specific meters and Coaching/Malaysia is fourth with 153 specific meters.

According to the classification, pollution of 151 to 200 degrees is considered unhealthy and 201 to 300 degrees of pollution are considered extremely harmful by experts. According to the Air Quality Index, a level above 301 indicates hazardous pollution.
