Islamabad: The District and Sessions Court has ordered to produce Imran Khan at the next hearing in the illegal marriage case.
The illegal marriage case against Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi was heard by Civil Judge Qudratullah. On this occasion, the assistant of the prosecutor Rizwan Abbasi appeared in the court, while the letter of the Superintendent of Attock Jail was also received in the court, in which the Chairman PTI has expressed his regret for appearing in the court.
The letter said that the chairman cannot produce the PTI in court due to security reasons. During the hearing, the assistant of the prosecutor Rizwan Abbasi filed a request to postpone the hearing, in which it was stated that he could not appear in the court due to his busy schedule in the Supreme Court.
After the break, the hearing resumed, Chairman PTI’s lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat appeared in the court and requested to adjourn the hearing, he said that Chairman PTI should be again directed to appear before the court. Now the matter of Attock is not the matter of Adiala Jail. The Islamabad High Court has ordered the transfer of Chairman PTI to Adiala Jail. Chairman PTI is in state custody.
The judge while talking to the lawyer of chairman PTI inquired what do you think that it is necessary to present the chairman PTI in court. Later, the court adjourned the hearing till October 2 while ordering to produce PTI Chairman at the next hearing.
