The 19th Asian Games started in Hangzhou, China. In the opening ceremony, the stadium was bathed in color and light. The Asian Games will continue till October 8.
The official mascots came into the stadium dancing and the troops of all the countries participating in the Games marched past holding their country’s flags.
Chinese President Xi Jinping took special part in the opening ceremony.
A 262-member Pakistani contingent is participating in the Asian Games, including 53 female and 137 male athletes.
The Pakistani contingent was led by GM Bashir, Pakistan is participating in 24 games of the Asian Games, the games will continue till October 8.
In the previous volleyball matches, Pakistan defeated South Korea 3-0.
