Lahore: The Caretaker Government of Punjab approved setting the minimum monthly wage of the laborer at 32 thousand rupees.

The Minimum Wage Board had sent the draft to raise the minimum wage of workers to Rs 32,000 for suggestions and recommendations in April. On August 26, Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi decided to keep the proposal to raise the minimum wage of workers to 32 thousand rupees in the cabinet meeting.

The caretaker Punjab government has today approved to raise the minimum wage of all registered laborers and workers to 32000 per month across the province. Secretary Labor Faisal Fareed says in this regard that the Labor Department is active for the welfare of all its workers and congratulates everyone on the minimum wage of 32 thousand rupees per month.
