Karachi: The abducted family from Rawalpindi police station Sadiqabad area returned home after 11 days.
According to the details, despite the family’s abduction case being reported, the police did not register the abduction case, while Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan gave RPO Rawalpindi Syed Khurram Ali 10 days to recover the family safely. Given respite, the High Court also expressed surprise at not registering a case of family abduction.
The kidnapped family consisted of 2 women, 2 young children and 2 men. The head of the kidnapped family, Ijaz Ahmed, applied to IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar for the non-action of the Rawalpindi Police, and took a stand that he belongs to Muslim Town. Last month, on August 29, around 3 am, 12 to 15 armed men entered the house of nephew Haroon Ishtiaq, his wife Seemab Waqar, his brother and his children. Haroon Chowke Shehryar’s mother Effat Waqar, his wife Nayab Shehryar was also abducted in the same manner and taken to an unknown location.
He had told that the whole matter was reported to the Police Rescue 15, Sadiqabad police station, but the police did not take any action. Shehryar Waqar, the carrier of nephew Haroon Ishtiaq, is having a business transaction dispute with Syed Mohammad Ali. SHO of Sadiqabad police station Mohammad Gul Taj and other people are involved in this abduction case with the help of the same person.
The head of the kidnapped family, Ejaz Ahmed, while speaking to Express on telephone, confirmed that all the family members, including his nephew, are back home safely. It was said that CPO Rawalpindi Syed Khalid Hamdani, RPO Syed Khurram Ali made requests for the matter but the police did not cooperate.
He said that he was forced to file a petition in IG Punjab Dr. Muhammad Usman Anwar and Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench. After the strict orders of the High Court all the family members have reached home safely. , RPO Syed Khurram Ali and IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar will make several attempts to take a stand but they did not give a stand.
