Maharashtra: In a strange incident in India, a 62-year-old woman weighing 160 kg fell from her bed and had to call rescue personnel to pick her up.
According to Indian media, the Regional Disaster Management Cell in Maharashtra’s district police station received information that a woman had fallen from the bed in her apartment, which her family members were unable to lift and needed immediate help.
According to information, the woman fell on her bed while changing her crotch and as her weight was very high, the family could not pick her up despite efforts. Finding no other option, they reported the incident to the Regional Disaster Management Cell.
Yasin Tadvi, head of the Corporation’s Disaster Management Cell, said that the said woman is unable to walk due to poor health. After contacting the family, the rescue team immediately reached the flat and lifted the woman and put her back on the bed. The woman was not injured in the fall.
