Saigon: In Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, a woman gave birth to a child during the journey with the help of passengers on the train.
According to media reports, the train captain, Mr. Doan Kim Tuan, said that the train crew and passengers have successfully delivered the baby.
The woman, identified as Cau Thi My Di, boarded a train to depart Ho Chi Minh City on the evening of September 5.
When the train reached Quang Nam province, a pregnant woman showed signs of labor. The crew informed the train captain who then broadcast a notice to all passengers on the train to identify and hire passengers with medical skills.
A doctor who was traveling in a train with railway staff, using his medical skills, successfully delivered a pregnant woman’s baby while traveling in the train. At that time the train had reached Da Nang city.
