An informer of the law enforcement agency was killed in firing in New Karachi 5F Rajput Colony. The deceased was the father of a two-month-old daughter.

The accused called the victim to the street near the house and killed him by shooting two bullets in the chest and neck from close range. Despite the presence of dozens of people on the occasion, they are avoiding to tell anything to the police.

According to the details, one person was killed in firing near Hanafia Mosque, Sector 5F, Bashir Chowk, Rajput Colony, Kuchiabadi, New Karachi Industrial Area.

According to the spokesperson of Karachi Police, the deceased was identified as 30-year-old Tahsin Raza alias Anna son of Imtiaz Ali, the deceased was the father of a one-and-a-half-month-old daughter, while one of his sons died at birth last year, the only child of the deceased parents. Tahseen was brought up by her paternal aunt, the deceased was known for hooliganism in the area, used to quarrel with many people for no reason and beat them up. He used to beat and bleed.

On Saturday morning too, a boy working at a motorcycle mechanic’s shop near his home was hit with an iron rod and his hand bone was broken.

According to the local police, the deceased used to call himself a policeman in the area, drove the car of an officer of a sensitive institution and was also known as an informer.

Khamisa used to extort money from drug dealers and drug users in Goth, the deceased had been arrested twice in a criminal case while the police checked the criminal record of the deceased and found two mobile numbers in which the policeman was written.

The deceased was supposed to have a relationship with Nadeem alias Dakit, but last Eid-ul-Adha, his Nadeem had a quarrel with Dakit. At the time of the incident, the deceased was going to cut his daughter’s aqeeqah, which he had raised on Saturday, when he received a call from an unknown person, on which he went to the street near the house, where the unknown person had a conversation for three to four minutes. After that, he shot two shots in the chest and neck from a very close range and ran away. The deceased was struggling in the street but no one picked him up. Neither helped them.

Later, the deceased’s paternal aunt and a relative barely picked him up from the street and took him to the Nala stop on a motorcycle from where he was taken to the hospital by an ambulance.

Talking to the media, the deceased’s father said that Tahseen came to my house on Saturday, we father and son had lunch together. Then he gave him money to give to the cook and said that you go home and cut the meat and give it to the cook.

He said that at night I got a call that Tahseen was shot, he was injured, but when I reached the hospital, his body was kept in the mortuary.

He said that at the time of the incident, Tahseen had Rs 100,000 which the killer took away. However, according to the preliminary investigation of the police, a person named Lodhi called the deceased from the house and shot him dead.
