Constable Riyaz Gul who died in firing
Tonic: A police constable was killed and a civilian was injured in the firing of armed men in a crowded bazaar.
According to police officials, firing was done at the main gate of a private bank, which killed police constable Riaz while a civilian named Ziauddin was injured. After the incident, the body of the police officer and the injured citizen were shifted to the hospital.
On receiving the information, a heavy police force reached the spot and collected evidence and took statements from the people present there. To arrest the accused, the search process has been started by installing bridges on the entrance and exit routes of the city.
After the firing incident panic spread among the traders and they closed their shops. The police have also started a search operation at various places to find the escaped armed persons.
Police say that we are looking at the incident in the context of continuation of target killing.
