Jail Khan Jat Spokesperson says that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has all the facilities as per Prisons Rules 1978, a new washroom has been constructed in his cell.
On the visit of Additional Sessions Judge Attock to the prison, the spokesperson of the Prisons Department explained.
Jail Khan Jat spokesperson said that all facilities are provided as per Rule 257, 771 of Prisons Rules, 1978.
He said that a new washroom has been constructed in the cell of Chairman PTI, the walls of the washroom have been made 5 feet high and a door has also been installed.
Western commode and wash basin are installed in the washroom. Bath soap, perfume, air freshener, towel and tissue paper are also available.
He said that there is bed, pillow, mattress, table, chair, air cooler and exhaust fan. Fruit, honey, dates, places of prayer, Quran and books have been given.
Spokesman Jail Khana Jat said that there are five doctors posted in the jail, one doctor is always there, Chairman PTI is given special food after checking by the doctors.
CCTV cameras are installed in the verandah outside the PTI chairman’s room. Chairman PTI is scheduled to meet family on Tuesday and lawyers on Thursday.
