Caretaker Sindh government's decision to end street crime and improve governance

Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh is presiding over the cabinet meeting.

Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh Justice (R) Maqbool Baqir has decided to control law and order while presiding over the introductory meeting of his Caretaker Cabinet.

The Caretaker Chief Minister decided to take strict measures to eradicate dacoits and street crime in Karachi, especially in Kacha area.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Caretaker Chief Minister said that the purpose of the meeting is to set an agenda for good governance, service to the people and assistance to the Election Commission in carrying out its work.

Caretaker Chief Minister Maqbool Baqir said that poverty has increased many times in the province after the flood, so there is an urgent need to take concrete measures to eradicate poverty.

He said that caretaker government is non-political and it is for everyone irrespective of their socio-political identity or affiliation. And will help the Election Commission.

Justice (retd) Baqir said that there is a need to promote inter-faith harmony in the province because people of different faiths live together in this land but anti-state elements are trying to disturb the peace by inciting religious hatred. .

The meeting was informed that dacoits have gained dominance in the Kacha area and therefore the Cabinet decided to launch an operation against the dacoits.

The caretaker home minister was directed to formulate a plan of action in consultation with the police and other law enforcement agencies to launch a coordinated clean-up operation against dacoits.

The cabinet members pointed out that due to ongoing development works in the city, the problems of traffic jams increase during working hours, hence the traffic police were directed to manage the flow of traffic properly.

After a detailed discussion in the meeting, it was decided to speed up the work on ongoing development schemes and foreign aided projects so that they can be completed on time.

It was informed in the meeting that people from distant areas visit government offices in Karachi and their respective districts where their problems are not being solved.

The Chief Minister directed all the ministers, especially Revenue, Local Government, Police and Health to direct their respective departments to make their offices functional and people-oriented everywhere.

The cabinet expressed satisfaction that Sindh has been polio-free for the past two years, but positive samples have been found in different areas. Take action.

The Chief Minister directed all caretaker ministers to prepare presentations of their respective departments so that decisions of public interest can be taken accordingly.

Caretaker Ministers Brigadier (retd) Haris Nawaz, Younis Dhaga, Mubeen Jumani, Dr. Saad Khalid, Dr. Junaid Shah, Mrs. Rana Hussain, Ishwar Lal, Arshad Wali Muhammad, Umar Soomro, Khuda Bakhsh Marri, Chief Secretary Dr. Fakhr Alam, Advocate were present in the meeting. General Hasan Akbar, Secretary to Sindh Chief Minister Rahim Shaikh and others attended.
