Injured sub-inspector martyred during treatment in Peshawar firing

In Peshawar, a sub-inspector, who was injured in the firing by unknown suspects, died during treatment.

According to Express News, this incident of firing took place on August 18 in the limits of Mathura Police Station, where the accused shot and injured Sub-Inspector Gul Jalal Khan, who was immediately shifted to the hospital.

He was under treatment in the hospital for the last three days, but today he died during the treatment.

Shaheed Sub-Inspector was in-charge of PAL Office Peshawar, his funeral prayer was performed at Police Line Peshawar. Senior police officers including IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Additional IGC CTD, CCPO Peshawar participated in the funeral prayer.

The police have continued the operation to identify and arrest the accused, but no accused has been arrested yet.
