Thousands of beauty parlors in Afghanistan were forcibly closed from today. In this regard, last month, the Taliban government had given time till July 25 for the closure of the parlors.

According to officials, the purpose of giving extra time was to give time to deplete the stock held by these salons.

According to the news agency from Kabul, 60 thousand Afghan women will lose their income due to the closure of beauty parlors. While this was one of the last opportunities for Afghan women to be socially active, they will now lose that too.

According to the news agency, around 12,000 beauty parlors across the country were banned by the Taliban government.

According to the news agency, women demonstrated against the closure of beauty parlors in Kabul city last week.
