The work of extinguishing the fire that broke out in the factory of perfume, spare parts and plastic goods in Site Super Highway Industrial Area in Karachi since last day is still going on.
According to the fire brigade officials, 80% of the fire in the factory of Site Super Highway Industrial Area has been controlled since yesterday.
The factory building has been declared a disaster due to the continuous fire for several hours.
Fire crews are battling the blaze from the outside of the building, hoping to have the fire under control by this morning.
Apart from fire tenders from across the city, a snorkel was called in to douse the factory fire.
It should be noted that the affected building has 2 floors, the cause of the fire is not known.
On the other hand, while extinguishing the fire, 3 firefighters were injured while 1 fire officer’s condition worsened due to smoke, all four persons were shifted to the hospital where their condition is out of danger.
