Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team Captain Nida Dar has welcomed the International Cricket Council’s announcement to give prize money to women cricketers at par with male cricketers and termed it as a welcome development for women’s cricket.
In an interview to Geo News in Karachi, Nida Dar said that she wishes to see a time when the salaries of male and female cricketers in Pakistan are also equal.
He expressed hope that the time is not far when women cricketers will also get equal remuneration.
The International Cricket Council on Thursday announced that from now on ICC events will have uniform prize money.
