Liaqat Baloch, Deputy Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, says that if the government does not hold elections in October, then Jamaat will launch a strong protest movement across the country, fifty percent of the tickets will be given to the youth.
Liaquat Baloch said in his address to the youth convention in Mansurah that they will not tolerate any delay in the elections beyond the scheduled time.
He said that the coalition government will not let the election escape.
Liaquat Baloch said that the perpetrators of the attack on the military installations on May 9 should be brought to justice, but they will not accept new political engineering under the guise of round-ups.
Jamaat-e-Islami Central Punjab President Javed Kasuri also spoke on the occasion.
