Quetta: Unidentified persons opened fire on the official number plate vehicle of the Federal Minister’s nephew in Pishin area of Balochistan, in which the driver and the security guard were killed.
According to Axiris News, 4 unknown people on motorcycles fired at the car of Federal Minister Israr Tareen’s nephew at Pashin Stop. Fortunately, the federal minister or his nephew Sardar Shahzad Tareen was not present in the car at the time of the shooting.
According to the police, the driver and the guard were killed by the firing of the motorcycle rider wearing a helmet, whose bodies were taken to the hospital for post-mortem.
SSP Operation Zohaib Hassan said that the attackers were wearing helmets and their target was the nephew of Federal Minister Asrar Tareen.
He said that after firing at Pusheen stop, the city has been cordoned off to arrest the attackers while a search operation has been started to find the accused.
He further informed that the father and son were killed by the firing of the robbers on the Qambarani road yesterday, after which eleven suspects were detained. The SSP further said that with the cooperation of the public, incidents of lawlessness will be prevented.
