Karachi: A CTD inspector was arrested for stealing a Suzuki full of ghee and cooking oil.
According to the police, on Thursday, the incident of stealing a Suzuki full of cooking oil and ghee from the area of New Karachi Sector 5 G Chand Market, Sindhi Hotel, on Thursday, accused No. 2023/375 of Section 395, 34/365, 412 of the employee of Fateh Traders Company Shahryar son of Abdul Saeed. , after which 5 accused including CTD Inspector were arrested.
According to the plaintiff Sue Shahryar, around 3 pm on Thursday, he was going to deliver 6 drums of cooking oil and 30 cartons of ghee to Sindhi Hotel in Suzuki No. KS 4139, when he was stopped by a police mobile near Chand Market, Sector Fyugji, in which 6 police officers were present. were riding.
The officials took me off the Suzuki and put me in the police mobile and kept roaming around in different places. Later around 5 am I was dropped in the tower area, after which I immediately informed my boss Irfan. The owner immediately informed the New Karachi Industrial Area Police.
The police took the location with the help of a tracker installed in the Suzuki and raided a shop in the Garden area where the Suzuki was present in the shop. Meanwhile, one person ran away after seeing the police while 3 persons were unloading cartons of cooking oil and ghee and one person was present in the shop.
The four persons Muhammad Usman, Abdul Wahid, Wasif and Muhammad Saeed were taken into custody by the police. Muhammad Saeed, who is in custody, said that the name of the person who escaped from the spot is Arsalan, who is Inspector Zafraqbal’s gunman. Arsalan and his colleagues have sold 6 drums of cooking oil and 30 cartons of ghee.
The accused said that Arsalan also contacted Inspector Zafraqbal, who told that this oil and ghee is stolen and they are selling it to you cheaper than the market and they have a guarantee. During the raid, the police arrested the four persons and seized 6 drums of cooking oil and 30 cartons of ghee.
When contacted, SSP Central Maruf Usman said that the police have arrested CTD Inspector Zafariqbal and started the investigation. According to the sources, the arrested Inspector Zafar Iqbal was posted in CTD Intelligence.
