3 official dogs of Punjab Police retired after 8 years. Retired dogs were awarded medals and certificates in recognition of their services.
Two animal-loving families took in retired dogs.
A special function was organized in honor of official dogs of Punjab Police on their retirement.
In which other officers including Inspector General (IG) Punjab Police, Additional IG Special Branch and Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shahr Bano participated.
According to ASP Shahr Bano, the retired dogs were working for checking in the VVIP movement in the Special Branch for 8 years. The dogs were awarded certificates of appreciation along with their names.
After the auction, the dogs were handed over to two loving families who will look after them, previously retired dogs were killed.
