Tosha Khana Criminal Proceedings;  The decision of the trial court against Chairman PTI is annulled

Islamabad: The High Court annulled the decision of the trial court in the case of Tosha Khana criminal proceedings against Chairman PTI.

The Islamabad High Court accepted the petition filed by Chairman PTI against the May 5 decision of the trial court. Chief Justice Aamir Farooq delivered a safe verdict, according to which the court ordered the trial court to re-judge the Tosha Khana criminal proceedings case.

The Islamabad High Court issued reasons in its detailed judgment, in which the court set aside the decision of the trial court to reject the petition of chairman PTI in the Tosha Khana criminal proceedings case and sent the matter back to the trial court.

The court has ordered the trial court to decide again on the arguments of the PTI Chairman’s lawyer. According to the order of the Islamabad High Court, the trial court should decide on the request of Chairman PTI in the Tosha Khana case within 7 days.

Earlier, the trial court rejected the request to declare the Tosha Khana case inadmissible and declared the trial against the chairman PTI admissible, against which an application was filed on behalf of the PTI chairman in the Islamabad High Court. , on which the Islamabad High Court had extended the order to stay the proceedings against Chairman PTI. Later, the court reserved its decision. The decision of the Islamabad High Court gave the chairman PTI a big relief in the case.

It should be noted that just yesterday Chairman PTI had expressed his lack of confidence in the bench comprising Chief Justice Amir Farooq hearing against the Tosha Khana trial and requested to transfer the case to another court. He filed a petition in this regard in the Islamabad High Court through his lawyer on Monday.
